Kari Brooks

Kari grew up in a family of artists and spent her childhood surrounded by artists of all kinds. She started attending art classes at the age of seven with her Grandmother, a fine art painter and mentor. She would spend the summers at her house in Southern California attending workshops and classes to meet and work with other fine artists where she learned about shadow, light, texture, balance and color.

She later attended college, receiving a Specialized Business Degree in Advertising Design.  She worked as a Production Artist/Graphic Designer for numerous magazines and newspapers where she became an accomplished digital photographer.
Kari's first love and favorite subject has always been horses. While she does occasionally work with other subject matter, Kari is best known for her equine images.
